Polydimethylsiloxane Emulsion SD-2121 is a nonionic emulsion of polydimethylsiloxane liquid with 60% active content. Because of its non-ionic properties, it can be used in a wide variety of systems.

2. Application
-It can be used as a polish component in automobile and furniture polish, with minimal application amount to provide good gloss.
-Used as a release agent in the following products: Rubber or plastic(bottle stopper, screw cap, bucket stopper, etc.).
-Used as a lubrication in the following products: Extruded rubber, conveyor belt.
-Used as a lubricant for textile machinery: Spinning, sewing thread, knitwear, sewing needle, Glass cloth exhaust filter device.
3. Usage
-When used as a remover or lubricant, Polydimethylsiloxane Emulsion SD-2121 can be used directly or in dilution, with traditional spray, dip, rub or brush. Dilute with low hardness water(ratio 1:10), users can do a test before production according to the concentration required.
-When used as textile finishing agent, the dipping process can be used. The amount of Polydimethylsiloxane Emulsion SD-2121 depends on the fabric structure and type(natural or synthetic). In general, the recommended concentration is 5-50 g/L.
Padding process:
a. Rinse the fabric thoroughly using a non-ionic cleaner, then use 2g/L 80% acetic acid solution for 5 minutes. The process can neutralize the residual alkali of the previous process to avoid the instability of the dipping solution resulting in oil stains or sticky rolls.
b. If anti-grease resins or fillers are used in the process, the mixture should be diluted according to the manufacturer's recommendations. If the temperature is too high, the temperature should be lowered to below 30℃ before dipping the silicone emulsion.
c. Dilute Polydimethylsiloxane Emulsion SD-2121 in advance with roughly the same mass of water and add it to the mixing tank as needed.
d. If need to use a grease resistant catalyst, mix in advance using the same mass of water and add to the mixing tank.
e. Use cold water to dilute to desired volume.
Notes:
a. Use clean mixing tanks, feed lines, boxes and rolls.
b. Use cold water to dilute the emulsion.
c. Do not use a high shear agitator when preparing the finishing solution.

5. Package, Storage and Handling
N.W.200KG/Drum.
Containers should be tightly sealed when not in use.
Prevent long-term exposure to extreme heat or freezing conditions that could lead to product separation. If separation occurs, it needs to be thawed when it is in frozen state, then stir it, and used in the normal way.
